Non-immigrant visas (also called visitor visas) are issued to those who intend to enter the United States temporarily for business,

tourism or study. 

Visa interview days are Monday-Friday mornings and the majority of successful applicants normally receive their U.S. visas the

next business day.

Advance travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of

scrutiny than in the past.


Note: Due to security considerations, there is no information window for walk-in visitors at the Embassy. Only those with

scheduled interviews will be admitted to the consular section.

Step 4 – Schedule your visa appointment

Step 5 – Attend interview at U.S. Embassy
